Extra Galician zorza is one of those dishes so typical of Galicia that it is forgotten that in the rest of Spain it is better known as picadillo or a completely unknown dish.
Zorza is a type of meat preparation that has much in common with chorizo, as the pork used in both is the same. The only difference is that zorza is the chopped meat used to stuff chorizos, but in Galicia, the zorza is prepared beforehand so the meat can be tasted and its quality verified.
Extra Galician Zorza following traditional methods
To ensure our zorza has the best possible flavor, at Embutidos Montepicato we respect the traditional methods of preparing this product. This allows us to maintain its unique taste and texture.
To do this, we chop the meat to a suitable size, without grinding it excessively, and subject it to a spice and maceration process where garlic, paprika and salt are the main ingredients.
Once this process is complete, we package the product and it's ready for you to receive at home.
